We are looking for a Project Engineer for Transport and Installation to ensure the safe and efficient transportation and installation of offshore steel structures.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the preparation of transport and installation plans for steel structures in offshore and shipbuilding projects.
- Work closely with the engineering team to design temporary structures needed for the safe transport and installation of offshore components.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring effective communication and alignment with project objectives.
- Manage risks associated with transport by arranging appropriate insurance coverage.
- Coordinate with heavy transport companies and heavy lift contractors for onshore operations.
- Manage communications and coordination with marine transport providers to ensure smooth transportation of steel structures.
- Organise work boats for personnel and containers, ensuring the availability of tools and materials for the installation process.
- Oversee the setup of jack-up bars and design rigging plans for lifting operations.
- Handle site preparations for accommodation vessels, including gravel bed installations and weight control.
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant safety and quality standards.
Requirements Project Engineer T&I
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in a technical field.
- Demonstrated experience in transport and installation of steel structures, preferably in offshore and shipbuilding contexts.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Strong capability in managing complex projects with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to perform well in high-stress environments while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
- Fluency in English, both in writing and speaking; knowledge of Dutch is considered an advantage.
